When I realised that after 3 years I probably could afford to do the job I had to find somebody to do it. I stumbled upon a really good website called
Rated People - customers describe their jobs and click 'submit'; local trades people then offer to come and quote (max 3) and you can read feedback from previous customers. Couldn't be easier!
We chose Harvey, partly because he was so knowledgeable and also because his references on the website were just great
